Champions hard to predict
I stumbled across Playboy's preseason college football prediction issue recently. I got a chuckle when I looked at the rankings, they had neither of the NC game teams even ranked in the top 20. The closest was Oregon at 24, they didn't even have Auburn in the top 25.
To me, that is one of the things that makes college football so exciting and enjoyable for me to watch. Sure, you're going to have some easy ringers that will stay top 10 teams from year to year, but you just never know who will come out of nowhere and take the nation by suprise, or wich predicted juggernaut will come out of the gate and fall flat on their faces.

Interesting post and very correct. I don't think anyone could imagined what Auburn was going to do. I know I didn't!

No doubt, it hard to say from year to year who's gonna be great.
